Crime Commission Breakfast Forum
For over 30 years, the Crime Commission has featured prominent government and law enforcement figures at its breakfast forums. The speaker briefs an audience of leaders from the business, civic and law enforcement communities on critical initiatives and policies that affect the local criminal justice system. Guest speakers have included: U.S. Senators and Representatives, federal judges, cabinet under-secretaries, the governor, the state attorney general, mayor, police commissioner, prosecutors, heads of the New York office of federal enforcement agencies, and others.

Stacia Hylton, Director of the U.S. Marshals Service, explained how the U.S. Marshals address violent crime and reduce risks to law enforcement personnel. She highlighted these efforts as they apply to suppressing gang activity, enforcement of federal and state sex offender laws, and community reinvestment efforts through the Department of Justice Asset Forfeiture Program.
